Hyung-Jong Kim has been a faculty member of Seoul Women’s University since March, 2007. He worked as a principal researcher of Korea Information Security Agency (KISA) from 2001 to 2007. He received his information engineering B.S.(1996) degree in Sungkyunkwan university, Korea. Also, he received his M.S.(1998) and Ph. D. (2001) degree in electrical computer engineering department of Sungkyunkwan university, under professor TaeHo Cho. His Ph. D. dissertation title is “Hierarchical Modeling and Simulation of Distributed Intrusion Detection System in Knowledge-Based Simulation Environment”.
Also, he worked in the CyLab at CMU(Carnegie Mellon University), Pittsburgh, PA, USA as a visiting scholar from 2004 to 2006. In 2013, he had spent his his sabbatical year at TheOne Network Research Group of ECE, CMU.
His research interest includes cloud computing security policy, Android IoT sensor security and performance evaluation of blockchain services.
