Professor of computer science with the University of Suceava, Suceava, Romania, where he directs the Machine Intelligence and Information Visualization Lab. His research interests include gesture technology, ambient intelligence, and new interactive media. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Lille 1, Villeneuve-d’Ascq, France, and the University of Suceava, in 2008, and the HDR in computer science in 2014. His work has received paper awards at CHI, TVX, and ICMI.
