The publication of the scientific papers consist of two phases:
- The first phase – submission of an extended abstract which will be published in the abstract book of the International Conference ECCO-2024 (with ISBN);
The second phase – submission of the selected scientific papers, in order to be published in the special issue of the conference (with separate ISBN).- According to the agreement with the Journal of Engineering Science (Category B+ in the national registry), selected papers from this conference will be published in this journal.
All Extended Abstracts will contain the Title, Authors, Affiliations, Description of the Scientific Results, Keywords and References. The abstract/paper must be structured such that the program committee will be able to understand the originality and the value of the work. It should define the scope of the work, emphasize on new advances, theories and/or applications and include an analysis of results and findings.
The notification of acceptance will be done through the OpenConf system of the conference. Therefore the check of spam folder is recommended, and periodically check the Junk/Spam folder for our messages that were marked as junk mistakenly. Also please consider that outlook’s app now offers a “Focused Inbox” for your important email!
In this jubilee year, participation fees will not be charged, thanks to the generous sponsors of the conference. For the associated (social) events of the conference, there will be additional information.
We recommend using the conference theme template for your presentation.
Accepted papers will be published in the volume of the International Conference ECCO 2024. The volume will have an ISBN identifier, and each item a separate persistent identifier DOI.

We are pleased to announce an agreement with the Journal of Engineering Science (Category B+ in the national registry) to publish selected papers from this conference. This partnership provides an opportunity to enhance the visibility and academic reach of participants’ research.
Please ensure that your submission contains the following items in separate Microsoft Word files:
- Letter of copyright transfer (described here: JES copyright-agreement)
- The manuscript with all schemes, figures, tables integrated in the text (JES template)
- Authors should provide their ORCID identifier
Authors will be notified by email if their contribution is received and accepted.
Proofs will be dispatched via e-mail and should be returned to the publisher with corrections as quickly as possible.
